I have always had a drive to create, and a streak of competitiveness. I remember seeing my sister draw a horse when we were toddlers, and I was so jealous. So I began to draw horses, over and over. That drive of practicing, repetition, and hyper focus is what has driven my success. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, step into the intimidating deep end to try something new, and ask questions to those who are better than me in what they do. Throughout my creative development, I have learned to value feedback with the objective of making the form more successful. How do you make something more perfect without looking at it from all angles?
Exploring the world around us through different mediums is one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Making observations and relaying them through art has led me to learn countless tools, challenging myself to fine tune motor skills, and using that noggin' to problem solve.
